KENYA 2021
Students gain real-world experience in Kenya, working directly with artisans, caretakers and farmers. Students start the tour learning the Maasai tribe’s traditions, before heading to Nairobi to engage in workshops with locals. Working on marketing, pricing and emphasizing the pieces themselves, students will bring back various artifacts to sell within their school’s local co-op. Social working students engage with orphanages and children centers, along with government entities. Dairy science will work with government departments, to community groups, to the rabbit farmers, themselves.
